Finish with confidence

Read the image, refine the grade.

Use objective scopes alongside your eye, move quickly with shortcuts, and export the finished full-resolution result.

Scopes

The live Histogram and Waveform float over the canvas and update as the grade changes.

Histogram

RGB shows each color channel, Luma shows brightness, and All combines both. Watch the left and right edges for clipped shadows or highlights.

Waveform

  • Parade places red, green, and blue side by side for balancing color casts.
  • RGB overlays all three channels.
  • Luma displays brightness only.

Select the close control on a scope to hide it. A small canvas button remains available to restore it.

Export

Select Export in the toolbar to render the full-resolution result and save it as a PNG. All visible layers, masks, and adjustments are applied in order. A progress indicator appears for larger exports.

Grading recipes

Cinematic teal and orange

  1. Add an Adjustments layer.
  2. Push Color Balance shadows toward cyan or blue.
  3. Push highlights toward red or yellow.
  4. Add a gentle RGB S-curve for contrast.

Punchy landscape

  1. Use Levels to set clean black and white points.
  2. Increase green and blue saturation in the Color Mixer.
  3. Lower blue lightness for a deeper sky.
  4. Use a masked linear gradient to darken only the sky.

Portrait with a soft background

  1. Add a Bokeh Blur layer.
  2. Select Auto BG to mask the background.
  3. Reduce layer opacity until the separation looks natural.

FAQ and troubleshooting

Is my image uploaded?

No. Standard rendering and image analysis happen locally in your browser.

Why is CPU rendering active?

ColorGrader uses WebGPU when available and falls back to a CPU worker otherwise. The result is designed to match, but CPU rendering is slower.

Why will a Levels input knob not move?

The two knobs cannot cross. Move the other endpoint first to create more room.

Why is an adjustment not visible?

Check that the layer is enabled, its opacity is above zero, and its mask is not hiding the effect. Turn on the mask overlay to inspect it.

Why does automatic masking do nothing?

Segmentation models download on first use and are optimized for people. Try a selfie model for speed, choose another model for accuracy, or adjust the threshold.
